LITERARY AGENT GIVES FREE TALK AND TIPS
BUCKINGHAM, PA— Associate Literary Agent Marie Lamba will offer tips about landing an agent in her free presentation on Wednesday, November 7th at 7:30 p.m. Her talk, which is free and open to writers of all levels, will be at the monthly meeting of the Bucks County Romance Writers Group, at the Buckingham Municipal Building (lower level), Rt. 413, Buckingham, PA.
 
As an Associate Literary Agent at the Jennifer DeChiara Literary Agency in NYC (jdlit.com), Lamba represents middle grade and YA fiction, adult and women’s fiction, and memoir. In addition to agenting, Lamba is also author of the young adult novels What I Meant… (Random House), Over My Head, and Drawn. Her work also appears in the short story anthology Liar Liar (Mendacity Press), the anthology Call Me Okaasan: Adventures in Multicultural Mothering (Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing), and her articles are in more than 100 publications including national magazines such as Writer’s Digest and Garden Design. Lamba’s talk is part of a year-long series of free workshops offered by The Bucks County Romance Writers group. The series is designed to take writers through all the steps of creating and selling a novel, from plotting, dialogue and structure through to revisions and querying agents.
